Democracy Under Scrutiny
The 2nd Uttarakhand Youth Talk was organised as a webinar on 6th February 2022, in collaboration with the Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) and ICFAI University, Dehradun. The topic โ "Challenges of Criminalization and Influence of Money in Electoral Democracy" โ brought together a legal expert, an academic specialist, and a state-level democratic reform coordinator for a focused one-hour public dialogue. Youth and students were invited to join via Google Meet and engage with pressing questions about the health of India's democratic processes. Free Smile Foundation had previously organised the Indo-Pak Youth Dialogue (June 30, 2020), a webinar attended by youth from India, Pakistan, Nepal, and Indonesia on the theme of dialogue ahead of diplomacy.
